Hi! I’m Megan.
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist.
I believe our health and well-being are deeply connected to the health of our relationships. The way we love, communicate, manage conflict, and care for one another shapes not only how we feel about our relationships, but how we feel about ourselves. This is why I love the work I do, supporting both couples and individuals on their relationship health journeys.
I really love my job. I believe the world can exist with healthy, secure, and safe relationships - it just sometimes takes a little effort and intention to create that.
It is my number one priority to create an environment that you feel safe and comfortable to open up, and a place where you can be challenged and grow.
The heart of my work
A little more about me:
Outside of being a therapist, I love spending time with friends and family, getting outside in all sorts of capacities (skiing, hiking, biking), cooking from cookbooks, playing cards with my husband, escaping to the mountains or the Pacific Northwest (where I spent a few years living), and listening to educational or mindless podcasts. I have a son and a cat - both whom bring me immense joy!
How I found my way to therapy
I became a therapist after years spent observing relationship patterns through different job settings. I saw how family dynamics, early peer and school experiences, romantic relationships, religious and cultural upbringing, all shape how people show up in their adult relationships. Many of the common struggles, like miscommunication, emotional distancing, or escalating conflicts aren't random occurrences, but often learned patterns.
My own experiences in individual, group and couples therapy solidified my career choice. Therapy can help bridge the gap between recognizing patterns, understanding where they come from, and learning new ways of relating that support connection, even during conflict.
I care that you find a therapist who you feel safe with and connected to. I offer free 15 minute consultation calls so we can be sure we’re a good fit!
Let’s see if we’re a good fit…
The name Rise Collective Counseling reflects the belief in the power of connection.
We are all interconnected—and when one person seeks support, heals their pain, or breaks generational patterns, it creates a ripple effect. One person’s growth directly impacts those around them. When one person chooses to rise, it invites others to do the same.
Together, we rise collectively.
Rise Collective Counseling works with couples and individuals in the Denver metro area of Colorado. All are welcome here. All backgrounds, races, genders, sexual orientations and faiths are welcome here.
